No one can benefit from scientific discoveries that nobody knows about.
Benefactors cannot support unknown programs; students cannot be inspired by science they cannot understand; and those who would directly benefit cannot take advantage of advances in science and healthcare if nobody has publicized them.
By talking about science, and sharing our knowledge and excitement at every opportunity, we can find overlapping interests, and ways to better our understanding, involvement, and success in science. This is why I am passionate about connecting with people at all levels, ages, and backgrounds, to foster strong relationships and collaborations.
If we engage others, and advocate for our scientific passions, we just might find that together we are greater than the sum of our parts.
